If there is anything you are interested in knowing regarding our show, the sport of riding on ice /snow or the Icelandic horse  just drop us an E-mail and we will post our answer here.

1. Q: Can all Icelandic horses (IH) perform on ice? A: Yes, as long as it has been properly trained under the saddle. But of course they are not all what is referred to as an “competition” or “show horse”.

2. Q: Do you need to remove the shoes used to ride on the ice to ride the horses elsewhere?  A: No, the shoes used for the ice are just regular shoes with spikes, but the spikes can be easily removed because they are screwed in.
